Costa Rica Car Rental Recommendations:
International companies such as Alamo, Enterprise, Hertz, Sixt, Thrify, Adobe, and Budget.
There are also a handful of other local Costa Rican car rental companies like Poas, Mapache, and Vamos.

Car Rental Insurance:
Rental insurance is extremely specific in Costa Rica. To be safe opt-in for the car agency car insurance. Call before booking to make sure there aren’t any hidden fees!!!

COVID Restrictions:
When this video was made there were no COVID restrictions in place to enter the country. However, Costa Rica did require international health insurance and a filled out health pass 48 hours before arrival. ( https://salud.go.cr )

The US is now requiring the COVID test to come back to the US. You will need to check with your hotel or find a reputable covid site in Costa Rica.
