  38. I recommend You Pacuare Whitewater. It is fantastic. Chirripo is good but not for everyone. Enjoy my country and don’t trust in the police.

  43. More tips: Don’t try to send a postcard from C.R. We sent three cards six years ago from a hotel near the Arenal Volcano. The postage was $1.00 for each card. They never got to the recipients. Buy the cards and wait until you get back to the states before mailing them. Don’t drink the water. I ate some salad and got food poisoning. I was sick for 8 days and lost 12 lbs. during my stay in C.R..
