  1. If you get back to Uvita you should check out my land, the eastern mountains from their tops to the rivers birthed at their base…an area of land larger than Manuel Antonio national park, but with no tourism, only prime Nature. Robert Tharpe can get you in touch with me.

  2. awesome video! I’m coincidentally planning to go Costa Rica in a few months so this was extra helpful, especially the vegan options. Unfortunately I can’t drive, do you guys know if it would it be easy to get around otherwise? (perhaps even by cycling?)

  3. Number one watch your back. Costa Rica does not have a safety net. They’re not going to tell you where the high crime areas are. They’re not going to tell you that one person a month during High season drowns in the beach town. And watch all your possessions if you set it down and you turn your back it’s gone. The ticos are my friends they see a cell phone laying out on the counter and the girl turns around they’re going to grab it

  4. Costa RIca is a total FAKE AND A FRAUD….POLUTED AND FULL OF DRUGS AND CRIMINALS….CAN’T EVEN GO OUT WITHOUT WORRYING FIR PERSONAL SECURITY.

  5. I would have loved to see more costarican projects, the video only interviews foreigners as if they were the sole action force in the country. ( this is something a lot of videos tend to do) With this I don’t intend to say your video is bad or wrong, in fact it was extraordinary. But enviromentally sustainable policy and practices in the country have been the result of local communities fighting and developing new ways to live and earn a living. Without them CR would not be the safe haven for “expats” (who in fact are no different than migrants) who wish to develop this amazing communities and projects. Sustainable development is not possible without respect and consideration of the local believes and way of life. I still loved your video 🙂

  6. the truth about (rich tourist going to tourist spots in) costa rica.
    lol
    – taking selfies with animals is illegal. stop it.
    – trip to arenal is always long, all year, always traffic.
    – horrified that Ticos need make money so have some crops to pay the bills, while being a world leader in green – bad take, why is it always all or nothing. unrealistic, we can not rely on tourists and having a whole country only be a reserve. we need to eat just like the rest of the world. go home and clean up your country before you admonish somebody else in their own home. (also – you flew into the country and then rented a car. too good for the bus or only ticos should be green?) – and then ya bitch about a park that needs to make money by selling stuff to tourists to maintain said park or should they just do it all for free and hope for donations – did you donate? jesus you are sad. preachy, self important, self entitled brats. go home and sort your own country.

  7. This was a great video. It was very informative. We will be going in December and we are looking for out of the way Eco adventures , yoga and vegan/ natural food options. This video was just what we needed.

  8. I managed a hotel on the beach in Jaco for a couple of years and I saw wildlife that would have raised Richard Attenborough’s eye-lids. I also saw a murder, a suicide, a lot of drug deals and several hundred prostitutes coming to town every weekend. I loved it!

  9. I like so much your filming script and narration, and that Climate Crisis, is round the world, and the solutions will be found global, nothing to do with any left or right nationalism.

  10. And then god created that shit hole called costa rica !
dont get fooled , 2 weeks vacation is ok
once you start mingle with locals all the garbage will surface
everybody out there for your money , parks tourist area all in USD for tourist ticos pay 1$ tourist 10-12$
vegan yes its a banana republic
supermarkets food meats are very expensive
pura vida is not ! more like pura mierda .
