What to Do in Monteverde, Costa Rica | Travel Guide 🌴

WHAT TO DO:
Monteverde is one of the beautiful parts of Costa Rica. Only a three to four hour drive from San Jose, Monteverde is known as the “jewel in the crown of cloud forest reserves.” If you only have one weekend to spend in Montevede, try to spend a full day in Selvatura Adventure Park. It is recommended to see the hummingbirds, tour around the famous hanging bridges, and then zip-line around the rainforest. Tip: the tarzan and superman rides are optional, but you should definitely try them out! The second day can be spent by going to Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve or exploring downtown Monteverde.

This charming AirBnb is owned by a Costa Rican family – Carlos, Paula and their two children Tiago and Daniel. Our host Carlos is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The rooms are comfortable, but the shared communal space is definitely the main attraction. Whats not to love about stained glass windows, a beautiful garden, and daily gourmet breakfasts?
